All our meat is quality farm assured meat selected from British Farms. Wherever possible we source the meat from local suppliers. All meat that comes directly from the farm is butchered on-site by our dedicated team of butchers.
Order by 3pm for next day delivery from Tuesday to Friday - we offer a free delivery service to all orders over £25 that are within a 5 mile radius of the shop!!
All our Bacon, ham and Gammon joints are supplied to us by a local family run business the Oakley Brothers who are based in nearby Flitton. The Oakley Brothers have been curing and smoking these quality cuts since 1875.
We buy our Lambs from local farmer Bill Rawding who grazes his sheep a few miles down the road at Eaton Bray. Why not pop in and buy a whole or half a lamb personally butchered the way you want it?
Our beef is hung for a minimum of 20 days. The amount of time the beef is hung is an essential element in enhancing the flavour and maximising tenderness. Why not come in and have a chat with our Butcher to discuss your requirements?

At Yirrells we sell free-range chickens bred locally at Potash Farm, Gubblecote. We sell whole chickens with giblets, breasts, legs, thighs, livers, drumsticks, wings and stock bones.
The breed of chicken is a slow growing variety and chosen as they like to roam free around the fields. They produce a delicious flavour ‘like chicken used to taste’.
We make all our sausages in the shop using only the finest ingredients with only shoulder and belly cuts being used for added quality, texture and flavour. Perfect as an accompaniment to a full English Breakfast or served up on any BBQ our sausages are always the highlight to any event.
